One more problem: The ticket is issued to the car owner, not necessarily the driver, creating another potentially drawn out case for an innocent person. I heard a story on public radio about a company that makes airplane drones for the military. They're getting some attention from law enforcement groups that want drones flying silently above us, spying on us. This is the slippery slope of red light cameras -- where machines are blithely used to erode our individual liberties. David, nice post.
