		<description>Actually, Mr. Duckworth, your comment kind of gets at the heart of the matter.  Many advocates of the health care reform law do presume that citizens cannot be trusted to understand what is in their best interests, so it seems somewhat natural that they would extend this sort of thinking to apply to those voting their opposition to the individual health insurance mandate.  I, on the other hand, fall into the camp that says people generally have a much better idea than government officials as to what is best for them - Prop C just gave Missourians a convenient way to express that Congress has no business dictating that citizens should buy something that they may neither want nor need.</description>
