		<description>I don&#039;t intrinsically disagree with anything you claim here but it seems to me that if we&#039;re acting to prevent an high-probability, high-impact environmental scenario under conditions of uncertainty (that it, we don&#039;t know when we hit the brink), or even where the brink is, those parameters matter in evaluating individual policies.</description>

		<description>The Energy Star, apparently, has no credentials. I heard on NPR that a company applied for the star with made up appliances that were gasoline powered air conditioners, or something just as ridiculous and were approved. It seems to be run on the honor system, which is barely effective in an office breakroom, nevermind in the dominion of capitalism and manufacturing.</description>
