I didn't know he had an interest in public policy! Tax credits are public money -- when a state grants a tax credit, that much less money is available for other state programs and services. I am continually amazed that during such fiscally tight times, it makes sense to dole out millions for a movie instead of preserving already-suffering public programs. Props to Perez.
