As our own pediatrician said in response to a question (not from us) after he recommended breast feeding to a group of new parents, "I was formula fed as a baby, and I'm a doctor now." Just to clarify, breastfeeding women in Wisconsin haven't had legal problems themselves--it's just that the law didn't specifically state it was permitted in public, so some people were harassing them about it.
