		<description>Seems like the Newfoundland is already the &quot;state dog&quot; of a Canadian province. Wouldn&#039;t a more appropriate state dog for Missouri be some kind of hound? As in, &quot;Makes no difference if he&#039;s a hound, you&#039;ve gotta stop kicking my dog around.&quot; Also as in Mark Twain&#039;s, &quot;There aint no harm in a hound dog, no how.&quot;</description>
