		<description>In Colorado (where there are tons of charters) we have to get community support, defend our decisions, be approved by our district, and contract with our district (some parts don&#039;t but in Denver most schools do). It works out pretty well compared to the picture you&#039;re painted. I think the difference is that DPS sees charters as part of the solution - not competition.</description>
