I am often reminded of a quote from former Justice Brandeis wherein it was stated, "We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." H.R. 2454 and now its latest but not greatest version presented by Senators Kerry and Boxer attempts to do just that. If this bill passes, then a select few like Goldman Sachs, GE and others will become quite wealthy while you and I will be left paying the tab. Please contact your Senators today.
