		<description>Thanks for the comment. You&#039;re right, some districts do use the systems. However, I don&#039;t see anything comparable on the SLPS website, and reformers here haven&#039;t given the idea as much public attention (and debate) as it receives in places like L.A.</description>

		<description>Sarah--many districts here do use technology to let parents track their kids data such as attendance, tardies and grades at the middle and high school levels. Tracking the lunch spending is another common one (although one I&#039;ve been complaining to my kids&#039; district about the lack of for several years!!!!).</description>
