The administration’s stimulus plan was bad enough, but this idea is really nothing more than legalized theft. In this proposal, they are targeting one specific group to take money from just in order to give it to a larger group. This idea is beyond repulsive.

Besides being economically suspect and ethically challenged, this stimulus plan is also really boring. At least with the New Deal, we things like the Hoover Dam. All we get out of this stimulus is gas money. And how can profits be “excess”? Are the investors running out of places to put them?
