Old Math, New Math, Singapore Math

Here’s an article about a private school in St. Louis that is using my favorite math curriculum, Singapore Math. For the record, Singapore Math is not really so "new math-y" as this article makes it sound. The books help kids visualize complex problems with cute little pictures and diagrams. You can replicate the diagrams with blocks and other physical objects, which is what the City Academy is doing in its math classes.
